What the JLPT N3 tests

The N3 tests language knowledge (vocabulary and grammar), reading and listening. They are scored as three parts. Language knowledge and reading are two sittings, 100 minutes in all, then comes listening. Out of 180, you pass with a total of at least 95 and every part at or above its minimum:

Questions

Is it free?
Yes — no ads and no sign-up.
How close is it to the real JLPT?
Item types, layout and difficulty follow the real N3; there's no furigana, as on the test. All questions are original, not past papers.
Is there listening?
Yes. Play the recording (as often as you like), answer, then read the transcript with furigana and a translation, and replay any line on its own.
